Welcome to the 53rd Festival! Thank you for your interest in covering Folklorama. The Festival runs August 4-17, 2024. Accreditation will close July 12, 2024.

Media who have been approved will be notified via email by Friday, July 12 *. Due to the high volume of media accreditation requests, we cannot guarantee that all media outlets or individuals that apply will be approved.

If you have been approved for media accreditation for the 2024 Folklorama Festival, your media pass, that will be included in the Media Kit, will be available for pick up at the Folklorama Media Event.

If you can’t attend the Media Event your media pass will be held until 5:00 p.m., on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the Folklorama head office (2nd Floor  – 183 Kennedy Street). If you cannot make the Media Event or the deadline to pick up, please make special arrangements with Kathleen Mason, Director of Marketing, Communications and Development [email protected].
