Troyanda, meaning “rose,” weaves passion, artistry, history, and tradition through Canadian Ukrainian dance. Since 1979, the Ensemble is honoured to have collaborated with many notable Canadian and Ukrainian artists to develop an extensive repertoire representing the rich and diverse regions of Ukraine. Under the artistic direction of Mr. Paul Doroniuk and creative direction of Mrs. Jenn Doroniuk, Troyanda pushes creative boundaries, recognizing the interconnection of Ukrainian and Canadian culture.
Troyanda dancers have amazed audiences worldwide with their charismatic performances and undeniable passion for Ukrainian dance. The Ensemble has performed across Manitoba and Canada, including at Canada’s National Ukrainian Festival in Dauphin, Manitoba, and the Ukrainian Pysanka Festival in Vegreville, Alberta, as well as internationally throughout the United States, Eastern Europe, South America, and Central America.
