Board Member Feature: Kim Ly
Meet Kim Ly, our new President, Board of Directors!
Kim’s first exposure to Folklorama was when she volunteered at the Indochina Pavilion. Kim has been more actively involved with Folklorama since 2013, where served as a member of the youth committee, licensing committee, and finance and audit committee. This is her 4th year as a Board member, and she served as the Chair of Finance and Audit Committee for 2 years.
Kim also joined the Flying Lion Dance Troupe as a performer for Folklorama Ethno-Cultural Arts where they perform lion dancing for the “at Programs”. Her focus within FLDT is to share the Chinese culture with the next generation.
Kim is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with over 10 years of experience and is currently a Senior Manager at Deloitte LLP. She is a strong believer in giving back to the community and is the Treasurer with the Institute of Internal Auditors Winnipeg Chapter.
