Board Member Feature: Kim Ly

Kim is a strong believer in giving back to the community.

Kim has been involved with Folklorama since 2013.  Proud of her Chinese heritage, she is a part of the Flying Lion Dance Troupe (FLDT), a member of Folklorama.  Her focus within FLDT is to promote Folklorama programs and to share the Chinese culture with the next generation.

Kim joined the Board in 2020. Since then, she’s been Chair, Finance and Audit Committee and a member of the Licensing and Youth Committees.

Kim Ly is a Senior Manager in Deloitte LLP’s Winnipeg Assurance services practices.  She is a CPA, CA and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with over ten years of experience in providing audit, advisory, financial accounting, and related services to large-scale, public and private clients in the financial services, real estates, agriculture, and autobody industries.
