Chile Lucha y Canta Inc. has been entertaining audiences since 1975. The group is comprised of both children and adults celebrating Chilean culture and tradition through song and dance. A live orchestra, which uses many of the traditional Chilean folk instruments, accompanies the singers and dancers. Chile Lucha y Canta performs songs and dances from all regions of Chile and can be seen year-round at banquets, socials and Folklorama’s Chilean Pavilion. A highlight of their performances is the dance of the Huaso or Chilean cowboy. It features the flirting attention of the men, graceful movements of their female counterparts. Chile Lucha y Canta is a talented and dedicated group of performers whose goal is to keep the tradition of Chile alive in Canada through their artistic talents. There is a performance enjoyed by all ages and cultures.
