This dance group is made-up of a number of very talented young women between the ages of 7 and 16. They have established themselves as a vivacious group of performers whose enthusiasm, creative choreography, and high standard of excellence have won them an enviable reputation wherever they perform. They have a very versatile high-energy program, performing many dances from Africa and various islands of the Caribbean. These styles include calypso, contemporary and gospel, as well as others that will surprise and delight you. The Afro-Caribbean Dancers can be seen year-round throughout Winnipeg and Manitoba at conventions, banquets, and benefits. The group can be enjoyed at the Africa/Caribbean Pavilion during Winnipeg’s Folklorama festival. Their amazing performance can be enjoyed by all audiences.
