We’re proud to continue our meaningful partnership with Recycle Everywhere, whose support is helping Folklorama become a more sustainable and environmentally conscious Festival. Their passion for protecting our planet aligns beautifully with our values—and thanks to their expertise, we’re making big strides together.

Greener Together

Thanks to Recycle Everywhere’s dedication, clearly marked recycling bins will be available in all high-traffic areas across the Festival grounds—especially near Pavilion beverage stations—making it easy for attendees to recycle cans, bottles, and cartons responsibly. Their commitment to sustainability ensures that recycling becomes second nature at Folklorama.

With guidance from the Recycle Everywhere team, we’ve also taken steps to make our office practices greener. The mindful habits we adopted in our day-to-day operations

along with their influence is helping us reduce waste behind the scenes, too!

Inclusive & Accessible

Recycle Everywhere understands the importance of inclusivity in Winnipeg’s multicultural landscape. That’s why they’ve created multilingual recycling signage in over 15 languages—including French, Punjabi, Tagalog, and Ukrainian.

These signs will be displayed in select Pavilion venues to ensure that everyone, regardless of background, knows how to recycle properly. It’s all about building a more informed, unified community through sustainable action.

Simple Tips for Festival Goers

Their reminder is simple but powerful: “You drink it? You bin it.” Whether it’s plastic, glass, carton, or aluminum—just empty the container and toss it in the nearest Recycle Everywhere bin.

Easy habits = big impact. Bring your reusable water bottle or travel mug and help us lead by example.
