BOOK LAUNCH EVENT: African Storyteller Bola Oriyomi Releases a New Collection of African Folktales
With her latest book, ‘Akaye: Intriguing Yoruba Tales’, Bola Oriyomi captivates readers while sharing the joy and wisdom of African folktales. The book contains 25 stories with accompanying songs that share the adventures of various animals such as Tortoise and Monkey who embark on mischievous adventures with many lessons learned along the way.
A book launch event will be held at St. Norbert Arts Centre, 100 Rue Des Ruines du Monastere on April 3rd at 2PM. The free event will feature live Storytelling by Bola and a performance by Ariya Afrika dance troupe.
