Since 2007, the members of Le Ragazze Italiane have been sharing their love of Italian dance with audiences far and wide. The very essence of Italian culture is embodied in their repertoire, which includes dances from every corner of Italy.  With over 50 years of experience, Le Ragazze are regular performers at festivals, international events and are known to be those dancing the night away during Winnipeg’s best-known cultural extravaganza – Folklorama.  With the swish of a skirt, the shake of a tambourine and their seemingly endless energy, Le Ragazze will draw you into the passion that is Italy.

In 2016, the group travelled to Chile to represent Folklorama and Canada at the Concón International Folkloric Festival, and in 2018 travelled to North Carolina to perform at Folkmoot USA festival.  The group is scheduled to perform at Festidanza festival in Arequipa, Peru during the month of August 2021.
