Winnipeg’s Indigenous Accord
On June 20, 2017, Folklorama proudly became signatories with Winnipeg’s Indigenous Accord. Folklorama is committed to reconciliation by taking steps to implement the Calls to Action outlined by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada through the promotion of education related to the history and culture of indigenous people. Every year, Folklorama reports on what has been accomplished.
Folklorama is proud to announce that we are now members of The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerces’ CODE Coalition. As a CODE Coalition Member, we come together with other Winnipeg organizations to collectively work to further diversity, inclusion, and equity in the workplace.
