Learn the techniques of acrylic painting on a wooden plank with master artist, Jorge Figueroa. Colours are the heart and soul of the Latin culture. This virtual cultural workshop will help you to express yourself freely using vibrant colours in an easy to follow along manner. A free of charge kit, available only to residents of Manitoba, containing everything you need to participate in the class will be sent to you upon registration. Only 150 kits are available.
The kit includes:
- 4 small containers of acrylic paint
- Small wood plank
- Stick
- Small chain

Artist Biography
Jorge Figueroa settled in Winnipeg after arriving from El Salvador in the late 1980’s. He is an accomplished international artist specializing in painting, drawing and sculpting. He has studied in Japan and Europe. His international solos and collective exhibitions have been featured all over Latin America, Canada and the USA. He has delivered and taught numerous workshops and classes throughout the city. For many years, Figueroa has been an active supporter of Folklorama and has volunteered at various Latin American pavilions.
